I have to get better at that. I like to horde my plastic bags and carry my paints in them. I'm a creature of habit. I pledge to use reusable grocery bags... mostly.

I too am offernder of hoarding those dreaded bags ( from all types of establishments) ...but I do recycle them to use in our small kitchen waste can. One of the other things we did was buy reusable grocery bags. My fiancee' bought one from Trader Joe's ( I love that place, just full of hippeis too!) and I bought one totally out of need. I was working in Monaco last summer and went to the grocery store to pick up a few gorceries at this phenominal grorcery store called Carrefour ( I wishe there was one near me) Alas they are only located in France and Monaco ( I think at least) The only way you leave that store with groceries is either carrying them precariously in your arms or buy a very nice bag from them. They have two kinds: one is the plastic variety but very strong and reusable and the other is the pre-mo one with padded handles and scads of room. We now use these when we go shopping for food. ( Did I mention the stares we get from the less eco- minded populace and the bagger too)
All in all I really like this blog! Well written, funny and informative! What more could you ask for.......BRAVO!!
